VIEJAS CASINO
official website

Owned by the Viejas band of Kumeyaay Indians, Viejas features an action-packed casino, an outlet shopping center with family-style entertainment, live music nightly in the Dreamcatcher lounge and an array of gaming options. There are 11 slot and video game areas, Vegas-style blackjack tables and a room for serious card players where they deal Caribbean Stud, Let It Ride, Pai Gow, Super Pan 8 and baccarat as well as a huge bingo parlor and an off-track betting facility.

Dine at one of five restaurants — the Grove Steakhouse, the Harvest Buffet, the Sunrise diner, (down-home blue plate specials and breakfast all day), China Camp (quick-service Asian fare), and the Mezz Deli and Lounge, where you can enjoy your favorite beverage and deli food while playing a slot machine or watching sports on the many TVs. Viejas offers full cocktail service.

The outlet center across the street from the casino is an open-air shopping, dining and entertainment complex with a Native American motif. It's home to 57 popular factory outlet stores and also presents a nightly sound and light show featuring lasers, pyrotechnics and water fountains to depict American Indian tales. The food court features Rubio's Baja Grill, McDonald's, Subway, Filippi's Pizza Grotto, Cold Stone Creamery, Scatterbeans coffee company and a Chocolate Factory.

Viejas is 30 minutes from downtown San Diego. It can be reached by driving east on I-8 to the Willows exit.
